ABOUT LOVINGSTONE NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION
LovingStone is a Non-Profit Organization that addresses homelessness within local communities through service and aid relief initiatives.
MISSION
At LovingStone, our mission is to break the cycle of homelessness by providing immediate relief, fostering sustainable change, and promoting dignity and respect for every individual. We envision a world where no one feels forgotten, and every person has access to our world's abundance and the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Built on principles of love, respect, and unity, LovingStone aims to empower communities to stand together and uplift those in need, creating a stronger, more compassionate society.
History
LovingStone, founded by Blake Beauvais, was built on the belief that homelessness is not just a lack of shelter; it is a profound human experience shaped by systemic barriers, economic hardships, and personal struggles. Recognizing the need for a more holistic and compassionate approach, LovingStone began as a grassroots effort to provide immediate assistance while addressing the underlying causes of homelessness.
From its early days, LovingStone has focused on meeting people where they are, with programs like Feed the Street Fridays, which provide food, clothing, and essentials, and our annual Hoops for Homelessness Tournament, which fosters community engagement and support. These initiatives are designed to do more than offer temporary relief—they aim to restore dignity, build trust, and inspire hope. As LovingStone expanded to cities like Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., the organization has remained committed to its core values: treating every individual with humanity, creating a culture of inclusion, and empowering communities to take action.
